with more camoed preproduction mules being spotted, the next gen trucks are closer to being revealed. with that said, what features would you like to see in the new expy and by extension the navi? no rules or limitations, just stay production possible. also if its a feature not invented but doable, thats ok too. the navi features include all non inclusive items as well. mines are below:
expy;
sec row seat belt airbags
sliding sec row
saftey suite (adap cc, auto emer braking, cross traffic alert, etc)
foot activated tailgate
side mirror aux lights (like whats on the new 3/4 ton side mirrors)
auto high beams
push button fold dow sec row
sec row fold down arm rest (why ford never put this back in the expy still baffles me)
auto hold braking
sec row sun shades
wider ccd suspension availability
navi:
massaging ventilated sec row seats
reclining third row
pulsating steering wheel
heated center console
ventilated cup holders
auto dim windshield
theater style rear entertainment
trailer tow cameras
auto park
highway rev diffusion (prevents turbo use for cruising speeds/acceleration)
if u can think of other, please chime in. i thought of features that would be nice additions but prevent price from hittin the 70k/90k barrier that gm is so happy to jog in.
HID or LED headlights - current ones blow and are 2005 technology
Heated steering wheel
400HP minimum engine or at least an optional upgrade
Large sunroof like on the F150.
Infotainment improvements - my wife's 2015 Audi Q5 is way ahead of sync3.
Auto up/down on BOTH front windows! Hell, even my 2013 F250 Lariat has that! Why doesn't an Expy????
A 12V outlet on the driver's side of the center stack. The one on the passenger side really doesn't work that well for a detector.
A cargo area cover at least available as an option.
It would be nice if there was some kind of cover that would span the open area at the back of the folded down 2nd row seats. You've have a completely flat useable floor that way.
A removable/replaceable drop down rear mirror in the overhead assembly. I don't need the mirror feature, but it sure would be nice to have two drop down bins. I envision a simple flippable section that popped in one way would be the mirror, yet popped out, flipped 180 degrees and popped back in would be a bin.
Since the Expy is flat towable, how about a single connection at the front of the vehicle that would tie into the lights, allowing for easy and correct connection to an RV. That would really be sweet. You'd easily have running, brake and turn lights all right there and the proper access point to tie into.
+50 hp/tq
Return of adjustable rear air suspension, and made available with CCD
Reconfigure center console for more storage and easier to reach with right hand
2 large storage compartments under 2nd row floor mats like dodge minivan
Extendable tow mirrors
gpfarrell - You are in luck! My 2016 does all three. My son-in-law's 2012 F150 also does the 6 blinks when towing so it has been there at least 4 years. Ford owners manual can give you details. http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_06_2015.pdf

Awesome! Love my '07 Navi L. It shares the garage with some nice German stuff but still stands tall and regularly re-impresses me... I'd be happy with a '15-'16, but I'm eager to see the redesign!
All the electronic goodies are already in the F-150's so that is coming. I'd love to see better drive train options. The 3.5L is a hoss but let's have a V-8 option, better gearing options, add the 10 speed transmission
I'd love to see the second and third row seat backs covered with something other than carpet, perhaps the same material as the weathertech floor mats. It may not look as good but it's more functional and damage resistant.
How bout a spare tire with a pressure sensor in it? Besides myself, how many people actually take the time to check the spare?
How about a the home screen button being accessible from any screen in Sync? When you do something on the screen, you're continually toggling up and down thru pages of stuff. Why not have the home button always available, so you go to what you want to do and then one touch, you're back to the home screen. Or even a default (that could be turned off, if desired) of say after 30 seconds, the screen automatically reverts back to the home screen from most of the other screens.
And a rear temp sensor, so you can control the rear temperature of the vehicle like the front.
Besides fresh looks in and out-
1. More leg room in the second row
2. Larger center console
3. Rear windows that roll down all the way
4. Allow the F150 engine options including the upcoming diesel
5. LED lighting
6. TV contracts so I can stop seeing so many GM SUV's on every TV show
That's a photoshop version, right? I don't mind the lights, as long as they function better than the current ones. Overall I like the look if this is close to what it will look like.
Ha! No - I meant is that the true 2018 or an "artists rendering" as I suspect it is. If this is the final product I like it. I can do without the the blind spot sensor just behind the front wheel though. One trip around the block in the slush and that thing is useless.
