Ok guys need some help with my pump. Truck wouldn't start this morning and no fuel to injectors. After some investigating i found that the connector to the fss wasn't giving it power. I jumped it with cables from the battery and tadaaa fuel is getting to the injectors again.
Now my question is what do i have to replace? I traced it back and it looks like it connects to the glow plug controller. Not sure.
The FSS, GPC, Temp Switch in the front corner of the right head, Cold Idle Solenoid and Cold Timing Advance Solenoid all share a common fusible link. The wire to all of these items is Red w/ Green Stripe. The R/G wire to the GPC is spliced into the R/G wire to the FSS, Temp Switch, CIS and CTAS.
If none of these items has power with the switch on and the engine cold then the fusible link is blown.
Ok i got that fused replaced. It was blown and with a new fuse the fss now clicks on and off. Thank you for that.
My next question is i bought a new GP controller/relay the whole getup. Swapped it out and hooked everything up but when i turn the key the WTS light flashes once then the relay just clicks. From what i've read that means bad glow plugs right?
Update: with a little more testing it appears there is no power getting to the constant on post on the relay. I checked with the key on and off and nothing either time. Any ideas?

I assume you are talking about the 2 heavy gauge yellow wires that connect to one of the large posts on the GPR.
As stated by madpogue they each have a fusible link connected to the starter relay on the fender and are "hot" as long as there is a battery connected to that relay.
