Y'all boys need to appreciate that old Ford truck. 48-50, most likely. F4 or F5? Are those widowmakers, I can't tell from the picture angle?
There was an F5 with dump body about like that in my area of TN that was in daily use. I saw it on the road a couple times but never got a close look at it. I always like to see an old original truck doing some work.
Edit: Total disrespect for the American flag.
I'll leave this thread here as long as it doesn't turn into political talk. The photo has the proper era truck so even though it has that sticker on it, its really not breaking any rules.
I'll be watching this thread to make sure it doesn't turn.
Ray & Carlene. I think the truck is great. Even the "Vote" part (but that is still political) is ok but when you start posting pics with political messages you are on a slippery slope. I'm not saying this because of it being one candidate or another. I'm not saying this because this was not or is my political preference. I'm saying it because this is the one place we didn't discuss politics. There is no reason to bring that to this great forum. One of the reasons I enjoyed going to the Truckstock get together is a rule of no politics and no alcohol and no jugging of the trucks. Just enjoy the company and stories. I'm not against any of these things but it's fun not having the hassle that can happen when they are allowed. I believe that the political part is stated in the forum rules so why would a Hillary or Trump banner be ok?
Thank you. The truck was great to look at but political crap does not belong here and should not be here. Keep this site free of all of that stuff as all of it Democratic or Republican or independent affliciation or Tea Party or Commie or any other party can and will offend someone. This site is just such a great place to go to and not have to be bothered by all of that stuff it really bothers me that it can be put on here camouflage as a neat old truck. This was just that and you fixed it. Again thank you I for one greatly appreciate it. Dave S
