Boots loose on Flex struts
I noticed when putting the winter tires on a 2011 Flex that the boots covering the struts are kind of wobbling all over the place. I thought I made a photo but I can't find it. I pulled them back on, but it takes very little effort to remove them.
Is that normal? There didn't seem to be anything to clip them into, nor did it look like there was ever a ring holding them in place.
I would think you'd want to keep the stainless steel inside there clean, or else the dirt would eventually damage the seal. Am I missing something? Should I get some steel rings and tighten it up?
