Miles per tank question.....

Just a quick question here.. How many miles are you guys getting out of your truck per tank of fuel with the 6.0's? (More specifically for one that is a F250, 4x4 Lariat....) I've never really seen any kinds of posts where this was answered. Can anyone help me out?

Miles per tank question.....

most i've had is 521 miles... usually around 480 & taking 35-36 gallons @ refill. very disappointed with the fuel mileage (and that's about it) compared to my '95 7.3L

Miles per tank question.....

resqdawg3, there is a smaller tank in the short box truck. I think the short box is 29 gallons and the long box is 38 but I'm not sure.

yes short box is 29 the most i got was 520 not bad i'm verry happy with the milage

The truck I'm getting will be the 6 3/4' box. So, 520 with the short box is really good! That's more than my 4cyl is getting. lol Anyway, thanks for the help everyone! I'll post some pics of my truck when I take delivery of her this weekend!!!

By the By, if anyone's wondering...

2003 F250 6.0PSD Lariat. All the bells and whistles, minus the Back up warning sensor..... I even have the Moonroof!! True Blue and Silver. Camper Package, FX4.
