NO NO buy wheels down the road you will see why. I did that on a 2006 7/16 spacer wheels split Ford claimed spacer were at fault. All my trucks go to 35 inch tires and 13 inches wide so i feel your pain. 18 09 wide 0 offset is a must and then ugly fender flairs. I try everything on my 16 too fit 325/18/65 same rubbing a friend in wheel store said no spacers on 6.7 too heavy to begin with would not even sell them to me. I love factory wheels too the tires fit perfect on factory wheel stayed under truck loved it till the rubbing :-( . well any way good luck hope you have better results and if not their are lots of nice 20 09 0 offset wheels out their take care

I hear you Radium but that just makes no sense. The wheel is centered on the hub, and the lug nuts are fully engaged and torqued down. How can there be a risk of splitting a wheel? I'm certainly open to new information but where is the cause and effect? And just to stay grounded in reality, we're not talking 2 inch spacers, 1 inch spacers or even 7/16th inch spacers. They are one quarter inch thick and in full contact with the wheel and the hub.

I HATE the stock rim offset.
I'm running HIGH QUALITY 2" hub centric spacers from :

rated at 30k lbs on my F350 SRW with stock tires & rims with no problems at all
I don't tow heavy or haul a lot of weight though.

New wheels are far cheaper in the end. Wheels spacers will cause some problems down the road, may be small, may be expensive. Almost certainly will wear out bearings at a much faster rate.
Not telling anyone what to do, only stating my experiences and opinion.
Also, if your tires are rubbing when turned you likely have tires that are too wide for the wheels.

wow a discussion on wheel spacer are safe ? As some one said earlier if you are not using your truck as a truck it's safe ? Who owns a 3/4 or bigger truck and does not work it ?? that includes the Weekend Warriors who are towing 5 wheels. i love to meet some one who buy a truck this big and never use it ? My friend that owns tire store said 1/2 tons are safe for spacers.
p.s i wish it would work the money in wheels i could have saved and ugly fender flares
