OK, here's the drill. Couple months ago I started asking questions about my turbo and possible leaks. Lot's good info from all you guys. Brad sent me a pm that he had a GTP38R that could be for sale. He was installing a T4 (I think). We connected and I accepted his offer to help R & R his turbo into my 2000 7.3 F350. He also offered his bellowed up pipes for a great price over new.
Today, he not only did the majority of the work, but also educated me as to all kinds of great stuff about my new oil leak that seems to be HPOP related. He also thought my truck may have had a chip at some time. He stepped up, and just started to ck out if I had a chip based on the upgrades he saw on my rig. Seems chip was installed at one time. No longer there.
Bottom line, install of his turbo went pretty smoothly due to my blasting my up pipes over the last week.
He, The Brad, is in my humble estimation, is a truly knowledgeable guy, self taught, with the help of Y'ALL here. He's not only honest, but a man of integrity. God Bless you Brad.
Where in SoCal? Who live tuned your truck. I like the 200/80 but wanted to go 200/100 here. Haven't done any as of yet. Do you tow at all?
I'm just up the 15 from you. I came down a couple of years ago and scanned your truck with AE. We'll have to meet up and I'll take you for a ride. Jody did the tuning.
Sounds good. I'd really appreciated that too. Are you a vet? We have a party going on Friday at Post 328, food and lots more. I have a doctors appointment in the morning that day but should be there by noon, if you'd want to come. It's on Hamner just at six street off 15. Brad I'm sorry, I should of known it was you. God bless,
Chet

I'm no vet, Chet... But like to party 😁. I'm in Placentia now, from Elsinore
Another time Tim. It's mostly for Vet's and there families. It's veterans day! That's why the free food. But I can sign any buddy in other wise. They just don't like that on these type of events.
We all need to get together. There are four on here now including Tim that ain't very far from each other. Just need a place. We could just all check out trucks or if we need work done, if we had a place we could do that. That's what we did at Andy's place up north, it was great. Clay use to show up as well. That said, black Friday with Clay at Riffraff is coming up to. But if you all just wanted Taco's, we could do that on Saturdays @ the legion and look at trucks. There's a park and ride right across the street. We use that for car shows.
Wow,just cruising through this thread and didn't realize there was FTE guys in that area. Former resident of Chino hills here,15 years, and bought my truck brand new at Hemborg ford. Small world

I totally agree with you. Brad helped me out with a turbo a few years back. And has had numerous text conversations with me since checking up and seeing how things are good. Good peeps for sure.
