AC question

I have a 2016 Superduty with the AC that has the "Auto" option.

My question, is as it turns colder, do I need to manually turn the AC button off, so the heater can be more efficient, or do I just leave the AC button on all winter?

The a/c comes on when you have the defrost mode on (air up towards the windshield) to keep the humidity down. Should be able to just leave it on/alone. It will cycle off if it doesn't need it.

I have always left my A/C button on, at least for the last 11 years!
