Brought the new baby home tonight. while it's exciting and dang impressive what Ford has done with these new Super duties, I was surprised how hard it was to leave my old girl behind. With 298,494 hard farming and towing miles, it's been an amazing truck. I'very never been real attached to a rig before but I felt like I was leaving a good old hunting dog at the pound when I left.

I hear you. I have to admit that I have some anxiety about giving up my 2012 as well. The old hunting dog thing is the perfect analogy too.
I notice you went with a long box this time around. What made you make the switch? Are you keeping the stock Michelin's after the level?
Good looking truck BTW!
Man, that's a ton of miles on a 2012. I really like my new truck, but in a way feel sad giving up the old generation. Not just 2011-2016, but really in many ways 1999-2016. The new truck is awesome, my dream truck...but you do realize the many things the old trucks did so well.

I know the feeling as well! Still miss her and it's been almost a month for me without a truck.
