Will a fiberglass hard tonneau cover from a 2011 Screw with a 5.5 bed fit an 04 Screw with the 5.5 bed?

 

I wouldn't think so because the top tailgate trim is different between the two trucks. The 2009-2014 models flared out on top of the tailgate, and the 2004-2008 models did not.

 

I believe you are correct Corey even though the inside bed dimensions are the same.

 

A hard one piece tonneau will not fit, assuming it's the one that drops down over the bedrail edges, as the outer dimensions did change.

However, in case anyone else is curious, soft rolling covers, Bak products, and covers similar to those are interchangeable from 04-14 because as previously stated the interior dimensions of the bedrails remained almost identical through the model change.

I would agree with the above. When I traded in my '07 for my '12 I kept the tonneau cover, it fits my '12 but it doesn't cover the entire flare out on the tailgate. So I would assume yours would be too long on a '08 and prior.
