Light cover

My problem is that the cover on my overhead light on my 1994 Ford F150 is very yellow, almost orange. I went to the salvage yard to see if I could find a clear one and they were all in the shape mine was in or worse. Does anyone know if they make clear replacements or any way to make it not yellow without losing the amount of light that is coming out? A friend suggested that I take some of the luminescent white sticky saran wrap or a color if I preferred and that would work, but I am still looking for other options. Thanks!

Try buffing it out with a good plastic polish ... Meguiar's makes one. I usually use SSR2 on headlights and they turn out pretty nice. Not perfect mind you, but good.
