making good progress
Well, I've had a very productive 2 days out in the garage. Friday I picked up a load of 1x1x14ga tubing, 3/4x3/4 angle, and some 16ga sheetmetal and began work on building a new floor and firewall. By friday night my truck now has an almost completed floor frame, and I'm getting set to tie in the tubing that will support my new smoothed firewall and front (angled portion) of the floor. I WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO TEST FIT MY NEW BENCH SEAT!!! 
and it fit great, just need to make about a 7 inch riser for it.
I just figured I'd share of bit of my excitement with all of this. Its really encouraging to see my sketches and ideas becoming real, Hopefully next weekend I'll get back out there and get the firewall in and get some pictures. I think there are a few of you out there who would be interested in seeing it.
BTW, I updated my gallery a bit, it should be a bit more organized now.
