WARNING CENTER LIGHT

ok, I have a 1997 Aerostar XLT

A friend of mine has a 1987 Aerostar XL, purchased in Germany! and was brought over here!

Its a 5 speed with the Vulcan (no a/c) but has a trip computer and the electronic digital cluster.

Ive never seen an Aerostar set up the way this one is. It has a trip computer at the top of the windshield! Surprising for an XL... ANYWAYS

The WARNING CENTER light is on. I figured it was a service reminder light that you need to reset (like on my 88 Cougar and tbirds)but I have no idea how. Any suggestions? Hints? Help? Its been on for years..
Thanks!

The first thing I'd try is disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Past that I have no idea.

You mean the green letters in the upper right corner that spells out "WARNING CENTER"? That is just telling you that that area contains the warning lights, which are in red.

Can you watch that area when you first key-on? All the warning lights should come on for a couple seconds, then go off. For some systems, if there is an error, its warning light will come on shortly thereafter. For others, you need to start the engine.
