Highboy steering

My highboy has a 3 or so inches lift so the po extended the steering arm 3 or so inches making it nearly impossible to turn

I thought the power steering was out in it at first but while I was on the highway it seemed to work sometimes have a delay others not work at all other times so I know it's working intermittently

My thoughts so far are too flip the end of the arm that comes off the knuckle and shorten the steering arm up to match

What do you think

Make sure your pump is working. When mine died it was intermittent before going completely. Do you still have power assist?

It's the original steering setup I think it's the Bendix kind

I don't know if it's working at all honestly but it's always a pain to steer now no intermittent anything whether it's because I'm just moving it around a parking lot now instead of the highway or what

Bendix Power Assist P/S: 1974 F250 4WD from serial number T80,001; 1975/77 F250 4WD

The serial number is the last 6 digits of the VIN

What it is is I believe it's working mostly right its just the steering arm is too long so less leverage making it harder to steer

See what I.mean about the steering arm being too long

I found spacers for the arm on the kingpin if dana 60 ones will fit plus I found arms that are basically bent versions of what it came with again assuming dana 60 ones fit
