I have a 2005 6.0 and recently my dash lights, fog lights and brake lights won't light up when I turn the headlight switch on. the headlight witch assembly was replaced. guess my question is what fuses or relays do I need to look into.
I would suspect the ever popular "gem" module. My 05- 6 liter would occasionally have a blank out of dash lights/ ac control (ATC) and one memorable day windows and door locks as well. Problems never lasted long , turning off and restarting the truck was my solution. the one thing I did to eliminate the problem was to never use the autolamp feature for the headlights. I would guess that is your most likely culprit. the only thing I can think of would be to completely disconnect the batteries and see if that resets the system. Hope this helps. T H
Good luck with that idea, the 05 Super Duty doesn't have a GEM module.
brake lights won't light up when I turn the headlight switch on.
They're not supposed to... brake lights are supposed to come on when the brake pedal is pressed.
The fog lamps and the instrument cluster illumination both run off CJB fuse F17 as do the running lights (front and rear), license plate lamps, and the roof markers (if equipped).

Have you checked F17?
I meant tail lights, writing this when you first wake up probably was not the brightest idea. Any way, I just poked at F17. it was the problem. I think i overlooked that fuse. Thanks for the help
