Could someone with a new truck take a photo with the hood open. Trying to determine if the hood/grill lift as one unit or if the hood opens stand alone like on the 99.
Many Thanks! My order just went in today for Lariat CC Long Box Diesel 4X4 to finally replace my 99 V10.

Mornin! Hood and grill are indeed separate. The heed is REALLY light (aluminum...in the requisite British accent, with the emphasis in the right places), and has a very satisfying and solid locking mechanism and sound. Very nice.
You can tell from the way that the grill integrates with the C-shaped headlight housings that it would be nearly impossible to make a grill that wasn't fixed in place.

"I quite fancy the bonnet fits nicely between the top of the wings and is quite light, being al-you-minium on this dear lorry"
1999-2007 Super Duty used a fixed grille separate from the hood. 2008-2010 Super Duty used a one-piece hood and grille where the grille lifted with the hood. 2011-2017+ use a fixed grille separate from the hood.
Even the F-150 is back to separate grille / hoods since 2015+.
