pre-bent brakelines

I have tried searching....

The only lines that I am finding online are for 2wd. Are any pre-bent lines available for the 4wd trucks? I have been told by a vendor that they ARE indeed different, and that they do not have 4wd versions available.

Before going the route of prefabed lines, Take a good look at where yours are and think: Will I be able to get a prefabed line in place? It may be easier to buy a roll of tubing and fittings and a flaring tool and make your own. There are kits on ebay that have everything together and you have enough tubing to do a lot of practice.

Thank you for the reply.
I never thought about the possible difficulty in getting the pre bent lines in place.

A friend bought a ranger that had some lines replaced, with the old lines removed and the new ones not placed in the original locations. I will not be doing the work on the vehicle and he is looking for the easiest way to get things done (correctly). He did talk about being able to flare his own, but I advised against it, as he doesn't have a lot of experience....and I myself have not had good luck with flaring my own lines.

I wouldn't think that the hard lines that run the frame rails would be different 2wd - 4wd, same length and size, only difference would be the length of the hosed lines to the calipers & rear axle.

I know that Ford lines are not available for long before they to have to purchase the sticks & bend them.

I was thinking the same, but I couldn't actually confirm anything. The guy who is fixing it is on a budget, so it might hurt him to purchase what are labeled as 2wd and they happen to be different...and can't return them.

From the seller/vendor:
Yes the 2wd lines are routed differently than a 4wd truck. At this time we do not have the lines available for the 4wd. trucks. Thanks

Back in 2007 when I was rebuilding my old F150 I bought a pre-bent stainless brake line kit from Bronco Graveyard and it was awesome. 30 minutes to rip out all old brake lines including some splices I had put in, about 45 minutes to install new lines, then bleed with speed bleeders.

I wish I could find a similar set for my Ranger.
