Too many codes
So I have a replacement sensor for b2s1 since that one seems legitimately bad but I couldn't get the old one out.
The p301 misfire code was due to a bad splice on cylinder #1 injector. which I have fixed now. (Wire nuts cause the wires are different gauges from harness to injector)
the p1120 seems to be a legitimately bad throttle position sensor as well. while driving to work in the morning at around 30-40 miles per hour it almost seems like the transmission slips going into 3rd or 4th. but or over revs then does back down. so I think that's the tps messing up the shift point. I'll probably replace that to test it.
p141 and p161 are new as of today.
Anyone got an idea what the 141 and 161 could be?
truck Is a 99 f150 5.4l 4x4 with a 97 expedition engine installed. California emissions.
Do they say heater circuits?
Would you not think it means the those heater circuits are open to both cat monitor sensors?
Look under the truck for damaged wiring harness or they have not been hooked up, or some reason why they are open circuits.
.
Code 1120 is saying the TPS is out of range. Not open or shorted.
Is it installed so it moves with the throttle plate? If the wiring has been change or spliced, is it correct?
Good luck.
