I'm thinking of putting some new wheels on the truck. I like the look of 20's but that puts me having to buy new tires too. Any of you guys running aftermarket 17in wheels? Im trying to get some ideas. Thanks
You won't like it. Save for what you want or buy some brand new take off 18s or 20s off of Craigslist. That won't cost not much more than buying aftermarket 17s and having your current tires remounted and ballanced.
Depends on if you like the look of more wheel or more tire side wall. I like the look & ride of more tire side wall than wheel. With the 20's you need quite the large tire to get enough side wall showing, There goes your Umph & Mpg. But I'm old school and Old.
I believe 18's are the way to go anymore. 17's seem to have less choices compared to 18's these days.
Here was my EB with 17's running 285/70/17 Cooper AT3's.
