I have just purchased a 92 E150 Conversion van. Needing some obvious repairs but salvageable.
My question is: did Ford use the same harnesses for all E150 vans be the same regardless weather the DRL was installed?
My Insurance company offers a discount to have them on my van. as a disabled vet on SSDI. I need all the discounts I can come up with.
According to my Ford service manual I shows the Module down on the passenger side on the radiator support. I have looked around but cannot see one easily but to be fair, I cannot bend around much. what I would like to do is have the module installed and the needed relay or fuses in the fuse boxes and hope I will work.
thank you all in advance.
I'm not sure on the wiring, but you may want to inquire on the amount of discount. I think my discount was something like $6 every six months, and cost of DRL module was around $70 or so. Wasn't worth the cost/time/effort to me to get the discount.
On the F series trucks the wiring is there with a dummy plug in it to complete the circuits.. otherwise the headlights wouldn't work, so you won't find a module if this is a US model but you may find a harness that just ends in that general area.
