Oh my, why in the heck did make it that if I want the optional Leather-Trimmed 40/Console/40 Front Seats in the Lariat (non-Sport), that I have to get the 502A package...at an additional $7335.

Gosh...just wanted to add the Leather-Trimmed 40/Console/40 Front Seats. LOL!!

Check with your dealer. When we got ours (an XLT) I was complaining about the price delta between the XLT and the Lariat just to get leather. They said to go ahead and order the XLT, and they would add the leather seats on delivery for $950.

That's what we did, and we even got to choose a leather color that matched the paint (instead of the interior). We REALLY didn't want black leather seats. I also think the quality of the leather is better than factory leather.

Yes, go with aftermarket. Especially now that you can get heated seats in the cloth.

That's new for '17 if that's the case.. it was a stand alone option in the '16s. I can't speak specifically to the accuracy of this for 17 MY but I can say definitely do not take the ford configuration tool for fact as there were several things on my truck that I found on delivery were improperly represented on the configuration tool.

My main reason for the optional Leather-Trimmed 40/Console/40 Front Seats...is that I wanted the Console. Not so much with the leather.

A call to my local sales lady at the dealer might be in order...just to verify.

YES...this appears to be new for '17 MY...according to FORD config tool online.

I just went to the build and price and you can order the 40/console/40 as a stand alone item if you get the 501A pkg. It is the last item in the interior tab. I did not try the 500A trim level.

An XLT 302a package will also get you a console with column shift. Get the Sport pkg and the shifter is on the console.
