It was suggested that the rattling could be fixed by adjusting the latches, but there doesn't seem to be any adjustment in my latch design. I was at the Dollar Store and saw some weather strip for a buck and thought I'd try to affix some to the doors and window jams to see if it'd help. Now my back doors and window are super tight and nary a jiggle or rattle. This may be a temporary fix due to the quality and size of the strip, but the idea is spot on. So if you want to try it, I'd recommend going with a thicker and wider strip of higher quality and maybe more of a matching color. I will, once this strip starts to wear out.
