Timing chain question
I have a '91 F-150 with the5.8L. Does this have a timing sprocket set for retarded timimg? If so, can an earlier 351W set be used without ill effects or computer trouble? I must pass Arizona emissions, not as strict as CA.

5.8 W's of the later years have a roller timing chain, simular to high perf. sets that you buy with advance and retard key ways, but factory sets dont have the extra key ways...at least what I remember from selling them over the counter.
