I use this on mine
https://www.amazon.com/Vgate-Bluetoo...rds=vgate+OBD2
Torque Pro
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...g.prowl.torque
Use the communication in the profile
SAE J1850-PWM
make sure you add in Ford PIDs
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ch.CarGaugePro
people like it cause it will pull codes but i have no bought it yet
Some OLD PCM's have to be flashed before you can pull codes

i finally got it to connect. i had to turn my ts6 back to stock, then it picked it right up. it stays connected though if i turn it back on. LOL. i sure dont understand it, since snap on, AE, and all the other quality tools can pick it up with it on. anyway, drove with the trailer some, and data logged. from first glance every thing seemed normal, even with the engine brake on pushing my luck.

yeah, but my understanding is you have to turn that *** when ever you want to slow down. as long as im not using cruise control i can leave this one turned on. it is very handy for those rolling hills or frequent turns in the road. and i didnt have the money to have someone right a decel tune. this cost me 13 bucks for the switch and relay. works great considering my truck and trailer are almost 16,000 empty. I use an Edge Insight for additional gauges, one of which is to read the exhaust back pressure. It works well to show what my EBPV exhaust brake is doing. I watch for anything over about 40 psi, at which point I will start using other brakes to keep the exhaust pressure from getting high enough to float the exhaust valves.
I only use the exhaust brake on mountains coming down the grades to keep my truck and trailer brakes available for emergency use. I also have a switch to make sure my torque converter is locked when the exhaust brake is operating.
I wonder why Ford didn't use the EBPV as the industry's first exhaust brake in American pickup trucks.
