I am working on a 2002 f150 with 4.2 a d a 5 speed.
Had a mechanic replace intake gaskets, o2 sensors . This pickup had masive vacuum leaks.
However after the work the idle speed is higher than it sbould be . I have checked for vacuum leaks and came up with nothing. No check engine light.
The idle is always the same and reacts to temperature as far as warm up seems normal.
If it weren't for the high idle all would be good, however this pickup exists to pull my trailer therefore it sucks.
