Winter is coming..

So how do you short guys (I'm 5'9) brush off the snow of your SD's?

My little brush barely brushed off my dakota.

To reach the middle I normally open the door and stand higher inside. But to answer your question I won't be. It is getting stored for the winter.

I use a telescoping snow brush to get the windows, windshield and hood if it's deep cleared off.

I used a telescoping brush. What I really want is to move to Florida, then I won't have to worry about snow.

I wish we could just brush off snow. We have ice instead. Try getting off 1/4" of ice with a scraper, it sucks.

Run the defroster, then slide the whole sheet off the side by pushing on it. Takes longer to idle the truck, but you get to sit inside instead of hacking at the ice with a pissant 99 cent scraper.

If it's real bad dribble ice melt across just the top seal of the windshield, speeds up the process. You don't spray it ON the ice, it'll take a gallon to melt through.

Up here we just wait for the wind to blow, which always happens after the snow quits. Or, just drive like hell and let the wind clear it off that way! LOL
We got 2 feet of snow on the western side of the state earlier this week. Winter has arrived.

Long broom, and indoor parking when possible.
