HELP! Stuck in 4x4 low
Hey all,
I have 133k miles on my 2008 6.4L FX4
I've done an EGR delete, full exhaust, cold air intake and tuner about 3 months ago.
Ever since then my 4x4 hasn't been working. Then two days ago, after driving appx 30 miles, I was coming to a stop in front of my office (<5mph) when my truck kicked into 4x4 low. The **** was still turned to 2wd and the truck was still in gear when it kicked. It originally had the 4L light on. I've tried:
Tuning the truck back to stock (after this the 4L light turned off and hasn't come back on since)
Tuning it back to how it was
Unplugging the batteries for about 5 minutes
Tried turning it off with **** turned to 4L then turning it back on with **** in 4L...still nothing
Can't seem to do anything to get it to kick back into 2wd

You have to be stopped with brake lights ON for elc shift motor to work.
Try backing up 12" then slip trans back into neutral
OR
Pull forward 12" then slip trans back into neutral & try shifting.
IF driveline has pressure on it, the shift motor isn't strong enough to work.
Remember = brake lights HAS TO BE ILLUMINATED & only switch to 4hi FROM 4Low & wait for it to switch into 4hi THEN switch to 2wd.
It won't go from 4low to 2wd
