well could be excess play in the stering box, which can be adjusted could be shocks, ball joints, tie rods, if everything else is in good shape and you can get a good deal i wouldnt worry to much about the stering, it not that expensive or difficult to redo the stering. DW
To add on to DW's list.Radius arm bushings,brackets.Axle u joint.
Steering shaft,linkages,rag joint etc.Also check the tires for uneven wear and uniform psi.How much $ are you talkin' samwe?

'92 Bronco XLT. 82,000 miles, 5.8, The body is rust free, but has a few small scratches here and there.
It has new 31"(I think) Mud T/A's on it.
The interior is also very clean.
I heard about it from a coworker who lives near it and noticed it getting washed alot.

i dont know how vehicle values are there but, i looked in my new KELLY BLUE BOOK, it low miles for a 92', if it runs out okay and looks to be taken care of I'd say thats not a (BAD) price but offer $5800.00 and go up from there, i think 6K would be a better deal but thats my thought anyway!
