This is 1964 but should be same in regard to where the wires go - colors may be different. You may find the "junction block" is nothing more than a bolt and nut tying the eyes of the words together, and you probably won't find a 70 amp circuit breaker. If you do, by all means post a pic of it...What is it you think you goofed?

Does that generator/regulator need to be polarized? If so, you need do that before it starts charging. Maybe someone will chime in. Good luck

I was wondering how your generator wiring worked out. I own a 1955 F-100 been working on it and realized the previous owner went from 6 volt to 12 volt and never told me what he did. Just changed the battery and nothing else. This caused a lot of issues and we are having fun now. Only item it did not effect was my head lights. Or I guess it did, because both were blown and I replaced them both thinking the high beam was out! But my high beam switch was totally blown apart. I found that yesterday. It shorted by a wire to ground that came off the headlite switch. Repaired the wire that came from the 6 volt light switch. I changed it to a 12 volt light switch. All the wires were wrapped in black electrical tape which ment that I had to remove all that tape to correct a bunch of shorted and burned wires. Reading your blog, I got my generator converted to 12 volt. But is my voltage regulator in A phase or .B phase.? I can’t find the answer for that. Kinda looks like my wiring now is maybe like the 1956 truck. But the semantic does not show the turn signals. Only a wire that comes from the brake lite switch. To the turn signals it’s a green wire that went directly to the rear brake lites on the six volt system. That wire was cut. So I had no brake lights. I’ve got a 1956 ford truck manual that came with my truck. It has a wire semantic. Today I want to get it enlarged and I will start tracing wire for wire. My voltage regulator is the big question on its phase.
