Prolly so. Back in the day .035" was the common plug gap and 28-32 degrees of dwell for V8's. So if you measure those two I'll bet you measure .035 and .17-.19. The small open end wrench was prolly for the nut on the side of the points. Dunno what the bigger side was for.

Bigger end would be for Dist hold down bolt. Back in the day it was not uncommon to just static time points engines with a 12V or 6V test light. So with this little guy and a plug wrench/ socket, standard screwdriver, and a 12V test light you could do a full ignition tune up. Tools were not cheap 50 and 60 years go so these sort of little gizmos were quite common.
Must be my old eyes. I didn't think the open ends were that big. 1/2" would be for a Ford Dizzy hold down. GM was 9/16". That big end only looks like a close up shot of a 3/8" to me. What size is it 72CC428?

I hear you Jeff but I'm not going to bet you again

I think you are right. I looked again at the first image and realized the sharpie is only 1/2" wide. I'm figuring the big end is 3/8" or 7/16". I don't think you eyes are too bad Jeff.

Jolly me. What a rare find from the days of the flight wind tunnel chambers of the swing wing F-114s.
You can see how the wings were folded out to gauge lift as the aircraft approached Mach 1.
I thought the tool was still classified.
Come on back in with your garage finds. We are here to elucidate.

This is more F-111 design. It's obvious that the Cockpit area is wider than a Tomcats. Unless of course I have it backwards? Then, Oh My God!! That's why it crashed when I tried to fly it!! Oh, the humanity! Or did the guy say... Oh, the Manatee? It was so long ago on that Lakehurst field in early May. My memory isn't what it used to be.
