You can change the coolant temp sender. Its less than $20 at napa. I just hope you didn't get it hot when you lost the upper radiator hose.

thank you RSA, we went ahead and went with some fleet charge, she has no problem keeping cool with the new radiator, she used to only be able to do 55-60 on the hiway now she'll do 80 no problem, killgore also told me today she had no problem on the hi-way and ni problem sitting in an hrs worth of bumper to bumper traffic!
