Which coil springs are these
I am trying to get my truck back to stock height. I already took off a body lift, now it's time to tackle the front suspension. The truck is 2wd and i am not a fan of lifted trucks. I was hoping to trade these lift Springs for some stock height coils locally but I don't even know what they are.
The bolt that goes through the i beam/coil should still be the original correct? Would be a pain in the rear end to get the proper one at a boneyard. I know it wouldn't matter but I would rather have the factory bolt in there vs a cheap hardware store bolt.
I have to assume they are aftermarket. What is the lift on them with and without spacer.?
I'll throw all that crap to scrap if i have to but I would rather see someone put some use to them instead of it ending up in China or somewhere over seas melted down

I am asking anyone with experience with spring lift, suspension lift experience if they could give an educated guess as to what amount of lift these spring provide.
I'm not stupid sir. If i knew what lift the truck had I wouldn't be asking that question. Wouldn't you figure?
Got this truck from an old man in his 80s that had quite a few heart attacks. Truck was solid didn't care for drivetrain. Texas blue title and $400 she was mine. Didn't care to ask questions. All I wanted was a solid truck that I could get road ready wIth an abundance of parts that I had for it. I would hope to trade those Springs with someone for
oem Springs. First I need to identify them.
I don't know why you BOTHERED replying to this thread if you didn't have any helpful information to contribute.
But here are more reference pics. I bothered lookin through my other thread so it can be more helpful and not be so vague.
That is how she sits now. Body lift removed
How I bought it with body lift and those Springs pictured.

Sorry that I rubbed you the wrong way, but you have to understand that there are probably a dozen different aftermarket springs available. A manufacturer's springs can change from year to year in rate, capacity, size, coil diameter, and steel stock. Who's to say that Superlift springs from 1989 are the same rate and capacity as the ones they make today? Even if two different springs can have the same rate and capacity they don't need to be identical in appearance. Even if you have two springs that are the same part number, one set could have been carrying more weight (like with a snow plow) than the other and be more compressed and give less lift.
Do you understand how impossible your question is to answer?
Any guesses you get as to make, manufacturer, or part number are just that - guesses.

They look just like the Moog CC844 springs under my truck. But, as was stated that's just a guess.
Coils cost $65 shipped, so I'd call you lucky to get $40 for them, though I wouldn't buy used myself at that price point of new anyway. I only mention it because you may spend hours trying to correctly ID them, for not much money.
But, if they're coming out anyway, measuring free height, spring thickness, and a picture in a craigslist ad might put money in your hand and leaves the ID to the buyer.

Thanks guys. That little info helps. I'm going to remove them later this evening and toss them up for trade for about 2 weeks. After that I'll just buy the crown suspension 2inch lowering springs. Just wanted some stock coils to check some tire and fender clearance without dishing any money for some stock height coils.
