429 pics
Does anyone have or know were I can find pics of the 429 alternator bracket.
I found a couple pics of low mounting brackets and they seam rather strange
The po of my f250 has the alternator mounted high using a custom made tube to set the spacing to block
All the loading goes through the bolt and it finally broke the other day
I replaced the bolt, but want ideas on how others have done a high mount

That is just a pic IFound of a low mount
My truck is a 79 f250 with pass car 429
L&l has some pics of low mount brackets but I could not find high mount
The clearance on high mount is less 1/2 inch so I don't think low mount will work
High mount means fixed rotation at bottom and tension slot at top
Any pics of 429 in my style truck is what I was looking for
