It's a "code name" for a particular package option. Z71, ZR2, FX4, STX, etc... Companies use these code names to refer to a particular option package.

I guess I would have to agree. FX4 is assume means Four By Four but it is just Ford's version. Isn't Ford's version ALWAYS better!
