Ford does not offer a supercharger as a factory or dealer installed option.
well that's definitely not true. Roush offers one that any Ford dealer can install before delivery. Usually that's left to the Roush dealers, but it's not exclusively limited to them.
Roush does Ford does not. He was asking about a stock truck. But I see what you mean.
FWIW, the kit Roush sells is the same hardware that Ford Racing sells for the mustang. Also since Roush is an authorized production customizer (or whatever the real term for that is), their parts are still considered dealer installed options and not aftermarket for the purposes of insurance and warranty. The parts themselves will carry a different warranty from the rest of the truck, but the rest is unaffected. Assuming you have an authorized Roush/Ford dealer do the install.
I get your point, too. It's not a simple walk up and choose truck, drive away with 600+ hp. You do have to pick the right dealer and give them time (and about 10 grand, lol) to install that option.
