Has anyone tried to tear out the ford spray in liner and replace it with a Linex one? I know this seems stupid to some but I ordered the ford but am having second thoughts since it is slippery and thinner. My truck bed gets beat up bad so I'm willing to tear it out if possible and replace, just don't know how

Wow, no wonder people have complained that the factory bedliner can come off in places -- its obvious from this video that Ford doesn't do any prep at all on the bed -- they just spray it on a highly-polished, toothless surface.

My dealer does not order any SD's with the OEM liner, he uses RINO and has a shop that does it for the same price as the option cost. Small dealer in a small town and no LineX dealer so RINO it is...

I travel more than 2 hours each way to get LineX in my trucks. Well worth it.

Cannot argue with that at all, but RINO is a close second and LineX would cost me more. I had my Jeep tub inside and my trailer 1/4T Army inside done, great stuff is right...

I got my truck with the factory liner and I live in Oregon where it rains 9 months a year. I compared mine with my buddy's line-x and the thickness was identical and neither of them were slippery in the rain. I did like that the Line-x guys took the time to take the bolts out instead of spraying over them but I didn't want to mess with any steel bolts in the aluminum bed incase ford did some sort of corrosion prevention from the factory that could be undone by removal. Maybe I'm crazy

Had Line-X done yesterday.. All spray ins are at mercy of the tech doing the work, these guys took their time (4hrs) and did a fantastic job! I did the Line-X platinum with UV protection.. it's overkill but so is the truck! I left bed bolts in, wasn't sure what to do there, but the shop had just done a 2017 taking bolts out and mentioned they are a bear to get out.. and how they are installed differently than any they have seen in previous models. So I just had em sprayed over, can always cut around them if need to. Anyway, very impressed with the Line-X process and end result!

I just had mine done yesterday LineX and looks good. My only complaint is they put a sticker on my back window. They should ask permission to do that, and I peeled it off, and would have saved them the cost of a sticker!

I'm not advertising their product for free. Not a real big deal, and it came off real easy.

x2.. I hate it when stickers are put on my truck without permission. I don't mind the lineX badge in the bed, but they really should ask before they do that too.

My Line-X bed liner is now 16 years old and still looks like new. I literally beat the HELL out of my bed every weekend either hauling dirt/gravel/blocks/trees and in October through November, deer carcass's.
