Adding indicator lights in the side mirrors
Does anybody have experience or know anything about this? I bought a 2016 XTR and had the intentions of adding the indicators after the purchase when I could type thing. I found the left and right OEM online for $70 a piece and just want to know if anyone would know the price of installation or if the dealership would even do this for me or if there is whole mirror units I should probably just buy with them already in it and get it installed like that.

not sure if you can do it but I priced a replacement mirror with lights for my Lariat after a small accident: $710.00 each just for the part. Who knows if your harness has the light circuit or not. Do you really want to spend that kind of money just to get a light or maybe wait for your next truck & get a higher trim level?

I have the basic F150 XL. I also wanted the turn signals in the side mirrors. I found several on eBay and on Craigslist in the $200 range each.
I guess our trucks are sometimes wired for more options than ordered. The turn signals work fine in my XL. One happy camper here.
