1950 F2 project
Let's go back to the orig question, can it be done "yes". Should you do it? Only you can decide on that! We have seen many that have started, such an undertaking, and never finished. Most of us, if not all of us would like you to get your '50 F2 back on the road.
One of the problems that I keep thinking of is axle width and how the tire are going to fit inside the fender wells. I don't know of lift kits for that style easy.. And I will say it again how is the State's Motor Vehicle department going to let your title/register it. Went to a car show tonight and talked to a guy that wanted to use an aftermarket frame on his build and the state he use to live in wouldn't let him register it because they required a factory VIN (serial number) to be original factory stamped on the frame. Didn't ask what state it was, but he said that is why he is now in Arizona. Guns and Hotrods.
So I'll ask you do you think it's something your going to able to complete. What I mean is do you have the experience, ability, fortitude and tools to complete this type of build? Another thing to ask is do you have some place to do this work at? It takes a lot of room to do it. Also do you have an HOA (PainInMyA$$) issue like I do?
I just want to see these old girls on the road and not in a junk yard!
