Warranty Selection Thread

I am getting a f-350 diesel 4x4 short bed crew cab

What warranty should I get?

Premium, extraCare, BaseCare, PowertrainCare

Just to compare prices, from flood ford
7 year 150,000 miles no deductible
1) Premium: $4,555
2) Extra: $3,235
3) Base: $2,660
4) PowerTrain: $2,120

such a huge price difference between all plans, I'm not sure what to get.

I'll be going with the 8 year/125k Premium when my truck gets here. The premium is the only way to if you have lots of gizmos and gadgets. What trim level are you going with?

But the only difference between the premium and the stepbelow is Audio, Safety, and something else.

For $1,000 difference is it worth it?

Here's the prices if you buy at delivery:

And here's the price over one year of ownership and 20,000 miles:

It's $100 more to wait to buy. That's not much cost to give yourself some time to make up your mind.

I was told you could cancel, and also get pro rated money back if you sell it, or it can transfer to next owner.
I went with 6 year 150000 miles premium at dealer 3220.

Just picked up my F350 XLT Crew Cab Caribou yesterday!

Peace of mind. Won't know for years if it was right decision?

Isn't the power train already covered for 100k? So really what your buying is coverage for everything else from 36k when the warranty ends to whatever you choose correct? Maybe I'm missing something with the extra esp coverage?

Its for the new Lincoln Superduty blackwood edition. Due to the increased demand for the high end models Ford thought it would sell. Release date is April 1st.
