Hey guys, I haven't been around much lately, been super busy building my living quarters in my shed. Anyway, my truck was parked out by the street last night. The next door lady backed into it this morning. She left a note, and I called her back this morning. She was real nice, and apologized, and has insurance, so all should be good in the end. It broke the dually fender, dented the rear quarter, and tweeked the bumper a hair. The sheriff came over this morning and checked it out. The only good thing about this is now I'm going to get it painted the right color. Sucks it had to happen, but accidents do happen. I've actually never met this lady as they just moved in not long ago, but she was nice to deal with thankfully.
I haven't seen her car yet, but part of her taillight was laying on the ground.
That's terrible Darrin! At least you'll get it painted. Are you settled yet, hope so!
I know its not going to make you feel any better but someone got me in a parking lot. It didn't crack or break the fiberglass. I'm sick about it as I'm sure you are too about yours! Not a bad picture at night lol.
It does suck for sure. I'm going to try and find an oem fender, I'm not sure what's available aftermarket, or how they fit.
I'm not settled yet Glenn. I'm still just living in the shop. In the picture I posted you can just see the edge of the door that will go into my living room. I've got the outside done except for the deck/steps, and got the floor finished inside today after work. I have to build the interior walls this weekend so the plumber and electrician can come in a week or so. I hope to be in by christmas, but I'm not sure. I keep getting myself more to do. I bought unfinished cabinets I have to finish, and unfinished 2 1/4" wide oak flooring that is going to take forever to install and then finish.
That sucks with your fender too! I can't believe we both got damage..
Thru that door is where you had the beast parked if I'm looking at it right. Poor Beast, has to stay outside now huh? Sounds like your coming right alone with the living quarters!
It has to sit outside until I get a few more things done in the shed. Then there will be room for it inside, along with another pickup and my skidloader.
