Aerostar won't start
Hi
I have a 96 Aerostar extended with the 4L engine.
Intermittently when you turn the key to start the van nothing happens. The battery is fine, no clicking from the solenoid just silence. Turning the key one to three more times will alway get a quick easy start. This has been going on for 2 years but is now getting more frequent. Unfortunately it never lasts long enough to do any trouble shooting. It appears as if the ignition switch may be defective in the start position.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas?
