Merc 4" crank

Folks, I happened up on a Merc 4" crank this weekend. Cleanout holes are 5/8, marked f1601, largest counter weight is 6" across. Any other characteristics I should check to make sure? It's not marked 1cm.

Seller says its 10 under already and should clean up at 20 or 30 under. Sounds like it's worn out to me, thoughts on that?

If the things not cracked anywhere 30 under bearings should still be available. Even if it was 40 under could still be ground as a stroker.

Are the sludge trap plugs threaded? That's another clue. Measuring the throw is the best guarantee.

Thanks guys, I am talking to him tonight. Technically, would a Merc crank fit into year 8ba block from 49-53? Also would the crank to cam alignment marks be the same?

The only other thing that needs to change are the pistons
