Hello Everyone, just bought a 2017 F250 Lariat CC with 6.7. I tried to wire up my radar detector to a switched blunt wire or fuse without success. I cannot get any power from the cluster of blunt cut wires at the fuse box. I actually had some hill descent and advantrac warnings while testing the wires with a tester and now have an engine symbol on the display. I did not have this problem with my 2008, 2010 or 2013 Super Dutys. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, David
There are approx 20 wires at the fuse box. They have lables with color codes that mean nothing to me so I used one with "VS......", thinking vehicle switch, that would not work. My 2013 had the same looking bundle and I just connected hot to the Passport power cord and kt was still working when i traded. I will try the 15 amp fuse location. Thanks
He tapped the fuse not the wire, he wrapped on the side that faces the firewall on the fuse. He is a master installer in texas. He used that side so if anything happens it will blow the fuse. He has done 100k builds for Sema and many of my vehicles so he knows what he is doing.

Where in Texas is he? I may require his services. I'm in the Dallas area.
