Electrical issues

So I own a 2004 f250 powerstroke. Tonight I was driving and noticed my lights were on without me putting them on. I don't have running lights so it was odd to see that. Later when I had the lights on and I tried to turn the truck off by turning the key back, the truck stayed running even with the key out of the ignition. When I turned the lights of the truck finally stopped. Any ideas?

I would start by pulling out the headlight switch and pull the connector off and see if you have a burnt switch and pigtail. I have run into this a lot over the years. You may have a few wires that have melted together running into the dash causing your conditions.

Yep, sounds like some wires got hot and fused together.
