Aod won't reverse when hot

Aod won't reverse when hot
I have a 93 f150 I got for $650 that runs good and everything works except the reverse gear when hot. Reverse works good when you start it up and it's cold but acts like a neutral when hot like it isn't engaging at all, any ideas on what could be causing this? The tranny fluid is a little old and brown I'll be changing that soon but don't know if that will fix it, thanks
