CV swap question

I've been thinking of doing this swap, but can not find any that have done it and put in an FE, anyone know how well this would work or any problems I might encounter? Thanks

I plan the same. I envision the engine perch using the original (top) frame hole locations, in addition to a modified (welded) lower portion of the perch bolted to the holes in the CV crossmember. This will put the engine and transmission exactly where they were before the swap. The left perch and steering might conflict but that's not serious, imo. There is some disagreement about whether the front-sump FE pan will clear. I believe it will, but if I am wrong a rear-sump 4x4 pan will work.
