Cat delete?

Mine is a 2007. Mine has four sensors total.
I did cat delete and have persistent CEL. I've read about a few ways to disable the light. Some are intriguing and I just don't have time to try them.
You won't gain performance unless your cat(s) was bad (like mine).
I don't mind the CEL, and I'm not concerned with my contribution to Earths air pollution, but I DO have some regret about the new exhaust odor. It's embarrassing. When/if I stand within 10' of the tailpipe (with engine idling) with a customer it is embarrassing. It'll wilt flowers and make your eyes water, figuratively speaking.

You won't gain performance and your truck will smell bad.
The converter case on my plow truck rusted out so I replaced it with a straight pipe, and now that smell drives me out of the cab.
Time to bite the bullet and by an aftermarket replacement cat so I don't get nauseous every time I plow snow.

I can vouch for that, gutting the cat doesn't do anything good for the exhaust sound on a 2000 2V V10 with one cat and stock exhaust.

The tip I put on mine lowered the note at least a semi-tone...and the 3 foot res does the rest. altho I do have an Alfa Romeo recording on my iPhone.... I just need an outside speaker! 950 watts should do fine.

Thanks everyone sounds like I shouldn't cut it out doesn't seem like I gain anything but a bad smell and I heard maybe some MPG?
