Thanks for sharing the pictures! Two trucks ago I had it and loved it! My last truck I had to take one off the lot and it didn't have the step, boy did I miss having it. So glad to be getting it on my 17!
Just a tidbit of information. My tailgate is currently in the shop for my 2014 F350. Some fool (me) destroyed it with 5th wheel. Who knew it was supposed to go down before driving off. The cost for the step (it's a one piece unit) by itself is $1425.

I have to say I lol'ed. Yes, I bet that would cause a problem.

Tailgate step should have won a nobel prize or something.. I only got it since the truck I bought off the lot had it, but I'll never have another one without. I LOVE being able to just walk up into the bed to get the trash cans out at the dump.
If they keep making these trucks taller, we're gonna need a two-tread tailgate step. It'll look like the steps into an RV.
Glad that the current stripper pole is internally stored. The previous location made it hard to empty crushed rock, mulch, etc. without getting stuff caught under the pole. More comfortable to sit on as well.
My 2012 I bought off the lot had the tail gate step. I thought it was the stupidest thing I ever saw. A few weeks later I was thinking how did I ever live without one! It's a have to have option for me now! I love it!
