Hello all. I have a small enclosed trailer manufactured by Carson. It is a single axle 12' box. The axle is bent so I ordered a new axle from the manufacturer. The sales people on the phone did not have any torque specs for the hardware and tried to put me in touch with a tech but,,,,,,,,. Anyway, the U bolt nuts look like 1/2 inch which would put them in the 60-70 ft lb range I guess and the spring hangers look like 9/16. Any ideas? Please don't tell me to make them tight enough, that was funny first 100 times I read it on FTE!
I appreciate any input.
