Unhappy Hit another snag

For most of you that read my posts, you already know that I am a newbie to engine rebuilds and such. I have posted a couple other posts already but I will explain my full situation. I pulled my 5.0 engine on my 1992 F150 due to the oil pan being rusted through. Since it was out I went and re-sealed the whole engine. Now the engine is back in and close to being able to be started. Of course at this point now I am doing more research that I should have been sooner, and figuring out things I wish I figured out a while ago. First off, I forgot to bleed the oil pump, which I have a whole separate post about. Second, I am wondering how to fill the engine block back up with coolant since it has been completely drained(also have another post for). Now I have hit another snag. In the process I have replaced all the power steering lines, power steering pump, and rebuilt my steering gear. Living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan the salt really took a toll on some things. I figured I would rather do it all now since my core support is out. Now I am wondering how I am supposed to bleed the power steering since the truck must be running correct? The problem I see is that I will be so pre-occupied on the initial startup that I cant focus on the steering alone, as I will be looking everywhere for leaks and or problems. Please, I could really use some insight and help. Honestly after this project I will never do this again because I feel like I am just screwing everything up instead of trying to make things better. Thanks.
